About The Position

EOS IT Solutions is a global technology and logistics company providing collaboration and business IT support. This position travels locally to multiple sites to support data center infrastructure and cloud operations. The role focuses on the physical repair and maintenance of data center hardware, including servers, switches, routers, and related components.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or certification in electronics, computer hardware, or a related field.
• Proven experience repairing and maintaining IT and network hardware in a data center environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the job, including lifting equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista hardware and x86 servers.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace defective data center hardware components, including power supplies, fans, and network cards.
• Manage hardware components throughout their lifecycle, from installation and troubleshooting to decommissioning and recycling.
• Conduct physical inspections and routine maintenance to support the operational reliability of data center equipment.
• Manage spare-parts and hardware inventory to ensure availability for repairs and upgrades.
• Coordinate hardware replacement activities with technical teams to minimize downtime.
• Document repairs, maintain maintenance logs, and update system configurations as needed.
• Perform basic physical-layer troubleshooting, including cable and port testing.
• Support new hardware installations and the physical setup of network and server infrastructure.
• Participate in emergency response teams addressing urgent hardware issues.
