About The Position

Archetype Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) is a national workforce solutions company specializing in skilled labor support for mission-critical infrastructure projects. We provide highly qualified electrical professionals to data center, mission-critical, and industrial construction projects throughout the United States. As demand for data center construction continues to grow, AIS is seeking experienced Master Electricians to support large-scale mission-critical projects nationwide. The Data Center Master Electrician serves as a technical leader on mission-critical construction projects, providing electrical expertise, leadership, and oversight for electrical installations within data center environments. This individual will support field operations, mentor electrical teams, ensure code compliance, and help deliver projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in commercial and industrial electrical construction, with a strong background in data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale electrical projects.

Requirements

  • Active Master Electrician license in at least one U.S. state.
  • 10+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
  • Experience working on data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial plants, or large commercial projects.
  • Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Experience with hyperscale or colocation data center projects.
  • Experience with medium-voltage systems, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and critical power infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting commissioning activities.
  • Previous experience leading crews or serving as a foreman or superintendent.
  • NFPA 70E training and knowledge of electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee electrical installations on data center construction projects.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with national, state, and local electrical codes.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, foremen, and other trades.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to electricians and apprentices.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and verify workmanship standards.
  • Assist with commissioning and startup activities.
  • Identify and resolve electrical installation issues in the field.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.
  • Support project schedules and productivity goals.
  • Participate in customer meetings and project planning discussions as needed.
