About The Position

Support reliable data center operations by installing electrical systems, keeping equipment serviceable, identifying faults, and completing repairs. This on-site role spans power infrastructure and control systems, with additional electrical work supporting construction and renovation projects.

Requirements

  • Required familiarity with local code requirements and the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70).
  • Preferred experience interpreting schematics, handling high-voltage wiring, operating diagnostic equipment, and using tools safely.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred background in industrial or commercial electrical work within data centers or comparable facilities.
  • Construction experience and familiarity with low-voltage control systems are additional strengths.

Responsibilities

  • Install and service wiring, electrical panels, transformers, and power distribution equipment, applying safe practices around high-voltage systems and low-voltage controls.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installations, maintenance tasks, and corrective repairs.
  • Pinpoint electrical problems with PLC diagnostic equipment and testing instruments such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and voltmeters.
  • Examine installations for unsafe conditions or developing faults, then complete necessary repairs and upgrades with suitable powered and manual tools.
  • Observe required electrical safety practices and ensure work follows the electrical codes applicable to the site.
  • Document inspection findings, completed repairs, maintenance activities, and changes made to electrical systems in clear, usable records.
