About The Position

This role involves installing and maintaining telecommunications systems within data centers. The installer will be responsible for a variety of tasks including cable management, system testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The role also includes maintaining accurate records and ensuring the upkeep of company vehicles and equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to think critically and problem solve efficiently
Strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate, listen effectively, and work well with customers, employees, etc.
Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Pull cables, innerduct, fire stopping, dress cables, label cables, clean fiber, etc.
Ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as testing connections and checking equipment performance
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
Carry and load materials on jobsite and maintain inventory
Keep vehicles and equipment in clean condition
Read and understand blueprints and diagrams
Safety training as required by position
Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
