About The Position
The Level 2-3 Installer will perform all basic and intermediate installation work activities in central office environments. The Installer will be coached and mentored as needed.
Requirements
- Clear understanding of the installation and decommissioning of data center equipment.
- Ability to create and apply accurate labels to cables and equipment.
- Proficiency in installing various types of cables (including fiber optic and copper) while adhering to industry standards and color codes.
- Skill in terminating RJ45 connectors on cables.
- Experience working with power distribution units (PDUs), fiber optic cables, copper cables, and patch panels.
