About The Position

The Data Analyst I will play a critical role in supporting the Facility Manager in the efficient operation of the facility and the Data Hall. Key Responsibilities: Deployment of data center hardware into standardized equipment racks, including the physical mounting of servers, storage arrays, network switches, and related devices; installation of power distribution and network cabling; cable management; labeling; and verification of connectivity, power, and hardware readiness in accordance with data center design standards, capacity requirements, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in a related technology field with 2+ years’ relevant experience OR Two-year degree in a related technology field with 4+ years’ relevant experience
  • Knowledge of facility management systems and processes, particularly in relation to HVAC and UPS systems
  • Experience working with HVAC systems, understanding their impact on data center operations, and using data to optimize their performance
  • Familiarity with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and the ability to analyze data related to power management and reliability
  • General knowledge of data center operations
  • Ability to effectively organize tasks, manage multiple priorities/details, meet schedules, and deliver on customer commitments
  • Ability to build relationships and work in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to provide and accept feedback
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Data Center/Computing infrastructure components
  • Ability to analyze information from multiple sources for complex problem resolution
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing major tasks by overall impact to the company
  • Understand/achieve business, Technology Organization, and departmental goals, strategies, and plans
  • Ability to effectively utilize standard Company computing applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to appropriately utilize documentation tools as required by specific job (CAD, VISIO, etc.)
