About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Center Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and security of servers, network equipment, and facility systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred
Experience with server hardware, networking components, and data center environments
Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and operating systems
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and network issues in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

CompTIA A+, Network+, or Server+
Experience with fiber optics, structured cabling, or low-voltage systems
Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote hands support
Knowledge of data center best practices (power, cooling, redundancy)
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Install, rack, and configure servers, network devices, and cabling infrastructure
Perform routine maintenance, hardware upgrades, and system repairs
Monitor data center systems, including power, cooling, and network performance
Troubleshoot hardware, network, and connectivity issues to minimize downtime
Replace faulty components (e.g., drives, memory, power supplies)
Execute cable management, labeling, and documentation standards
Support asset lifecycle management (receiving, deployment, decommissioning)
Maintain accurate logs, tickets, and technical documentation
