About The Position

Data Centers are considered Critical Facilities, supporting essential services like hospitals, laboratories, and public safety centers, meaning they cannot experience downtime. This 12-week internship program is designed to teach participants the essential skills needed to become a data center technician/engineer. It offers a pathway to a lifelong career in an industry that impacts lives globally, specifically targeting candidates with non-traditional degree backgrounds, such as those from trade schools. The program emphasizes hands-on learning and making a difference by ensuring the continuous operation of critical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. and possess agile manual dexterity (climb, stoop, etc.) with or without accommodation.
• Flexibility to work any assigned shift, off-schedule, fill in for a workmate, and respond to emergencies, holidays, nights, etc.
• A natural curiosity and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Strong customer service mindset – whether the customer is your co-worker, a supplier, or client.
• Dedication and commitment to doing things with precision and accuracy.
• High School Diploma.

Nice To Haves

• Skills such as experience with HVAC, plumbing, fiber optics, ethernet, switches and servers, and electrical, diesel generator, fire systems and building automation systems/building mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Benefits

• Paid hourly, 40 hours per week
• The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is: United States: $25 - $35 / Hourly
• Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position
