AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager. This role will operate at the cross-section between multiple divisional personnel, senior leadership, program management, and key stakeholders. This position will be on site in Charlotte, NC. The Construction Manager will lead end-to-end management of workplace construction and renovation projects from concept through occupancy. This includes managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource planning. The role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout project lifecycles. Responsibilities include overseeing tenant improvements (TI), office renovations, workplace modernization initiatives, and infrastructure upgrades. The Construction Manager must ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and corporate standards. Strategic planning of office and labs is also a key responsibility. The role requires managing contractor selection, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and project execution. Additionally, the Construction Manager will monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve project issues proactively. Tracking project budgets, approving invoices, managing change orders, and providing financial reporting are essential. The role involves partnering with Facilities, IT, Security, EHS, HR, and business leaders to ensure successful project delivery.
