About The Position

The Data Analyst I will play a critical role in supporting the Facility Manager in the efficient operation of the facility and the Data Hall. This role involves the deployment of data center hardware, including physical mounting of servers, storage arrays, network switches, and related devices. It also includes the installation of power distribution and network cabling, cable management, labeling, and verification of connectivity, power, and hardware readiness in accordance with data center design standards, capacity requirements, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in a related technology field with 2+ years’ relevant experience OR Two-year degree in a related technology field with 4+ years’ relevant experience
  • Proven track record of using data analytics to drive operational improvements and efficiencies
  • Knowledge of structured fiber optic and copper cable standards, management and utilization
  • Knowledge of facility management systems and processes, particularly in relation to HVAC and UPS systems
  • Experience working with HVAC systems, understanding their impact on data center operations, and using data to optimize their performance
  • Familiarity with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and the ability to analyze data related to power management and reliability
  • General knowledge of data center operations
  • Ability to effectively organize tasks, manage multiple priorities/details, meet schedules, and deliver on customer commitments
  • Ability to build relationships and work in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to provide and accept feedback
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
