About The Position

As a Data Center Infrastructure Analyst, under limited supervision, you will implement, support, maintain and optimize Data Center and IT infrastructure technologies, working independently and collaborating effectively across teams. You will support the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure activities across data centers and office communication rooms; support the IT infrastructure and environmental requirements for various IT hardware platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of infrastructure systems and their interdependencies with IT hardware and environmental requirements and have strong collaboration skills working with both internal and external team members, and escalates complex issues as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of broad IT experience, focused on data center infrastructure support or operations, including facility mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, cabling, and environmental monitoring systems.
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure domains including networking, compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies, with hands-on experience supporting or integrating systems across multiple environments.
  • Experience using configuration management and monitoring tools.
  • Strong business acumen and corporate awareness and are adept at aligning initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and can write both technical and business-oriented communications.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or related field (or demonstrated equivalent experience) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute daily infrastructure activities across data centers and communication rooms, including adds, moves, and changes in compliance with standards.
  • Support, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure systems to meet availability, performance, and capacity requirements.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, respond to alarms, manage incidents to resolution, and proactively identify and escalate risks.
  • Plan and participate in infrastructure upgrades, changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain configuration management systems, operational documentation, and service management processes.
  • Coordinate equipment logistics, including deliveries, inventory, and hardware salvage.
  • Analyze infrastructure data and create reports and visualizations to support capacity and performance insights.
  • Collaborate across teams, develop working knowledge of supported technologies, and perform additional duties as assigned.
