About The Position

The Data & Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting, dashboards, analytics, and data solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making across Banking Operations. This role serves as a trusted partner to business leaders by transforming complex data into meaningful insights that drive performance improvement, workforce optimization, process efficiency, and business growth. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Credit, Commercial Banking, Finance, and Technology to establish trusted data sources, automate reporting processes, and deliver actionable analytics that support enterprise objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting and Visualization, Financial or Operational Analytics, or Data Management.
Advanced Power BI Data Modeling, DAX, Dashboard Development, Data Visualization.
Advanced Excel: Power Query, Pivot Tables, Data Modeling, Advanced Formulas.
SQL.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain operational dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting.
Build self-service reporting solutions that enable business leaders to access real-time performance data.
Consolidate and standardize reporting across multiple business units.
Develop executive-level reporting packages that communicate operational performance, trends, and opportunities.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of key business metrics and performance indicators.
Analyze operational, customer, financial, and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Conduct root cause analyses to uncover drivers of performance outcomes.
Translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
Support data-driven decision making through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Measure operational effectiveness and identify performance improvement opportunities.
Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI and other visualization tools.
Create visualizations that simplify complex data and enable executive decision-making.
Design and maintain KPI scorecards that support departmental and organizational goals.
Ensure reporting tools are scalable, reliable, and user-friendly.
Establish and maintain data definitions, business rules, and reporting standards.
Perform data validation and quality assurance activities.
Identify data integrity issues and partner with stakeholders to resolve them.
Support enterprise data governance initiatives and best practices.
Document reporting logic, calculations, and analytical methodologies.
Automate manual reporting and recurring analytical processes.
Develop solutions that improve data accessibility and reporting efficiency.
Support digital transformation and process improvement initiatives through data and technology.
Leverage advanced analytics to reduce manual effort and improve decision quality.
Partner with Operations, Finance, Credit, and Executive Leadership to support strategic initiatives.
Provide analytical support for forecasting, capacity planning, budgeting, staffing, and productivity initiatives.
Assist with business case development and ROI analysis for proposed investments.
Support organizational performance reviews and executive planning activities.
