About The Position

The Senior Data & Business Intelligence Associate sources, manipulates, prepares, and validates data for production reporting and analytical data sets used to answer business questions or perform predictive analysis. The role uses queries and data mining to produce complex reports and descriptive analyses, and manages data-sourcing projects that connect technology partners and the business to develop business intelligence solutions, process improvements, automations, and reports.

Success in the role requires critical thinking, technical expertise, and anticipation of business needs; leading conversations with business partners; communicating effectively with stakeholders; and providing solutions that account for impacts and intersections with other partners and lines of business. The associate also reviews junior staff work and provides direction and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Analytics, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field, with at least 6 years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree or equivalent in one of these fields with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate to advanced query writing or coding, including complex joins; Python or SQL preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced data visualization skills.
• Proficiency in analytical programming languages.
• Proficiency in report and process automation.
• Knowledge or skill in process flow and project management.
• Knowledge or skill in Google Cloud technologies and tools.
• Knowledge or skill in navigating data warehouses and/or data supply chains.
• Knowledge or skill in using generative AI and agentic technologies to automate reporting, accelerate analytics, improve data discovery, generate business insights, and optimize operational workflows while maintaining data governance and regulatory compliance.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development and delivery.
• Ability to build relationships, lead conversations with business partners, and influence and consult, typically with mid-level leaders.
• Ability to apply business acumen and critical thinking to complex problems, considering business impacts, intersections, and potential pitfalls.

• Python or SQL query-writing/coding experience.
