About The Position

Acuity, Inc. is seeking dynamic, self-motivated individuals with experience as a Data Architect. This position is within a team supporting the client with data acquisition, exploitation, engineering, and management tasks. The role involves data engineering and operations, software engineering, security engineering, DevOps engineering, application development, data science, and program management. The individual will communicate and collaborate across organizational boundaries, including other contractor teams, client staff, and external stakeholders. Acuity, Inc. is a technology consulting firm that supports federal agencies, combining industry partnerships and long-term federal experience with innovative technical leadership to support our customers’ critical missions. The role focuses on IT Modernization, Data Enablement, and Hyperautomation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and data management.
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple OS environments including Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud environments, including AWS.
  • Demonstrated experience with development environments including AWS, Hadoop distributed file system (HDFS), Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting data processing activities.
  • Experience working with Python.
  • Demonstrated experience building executing ETL pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience with integrating data flows with industry standard systems such as Niagra Falls.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be a proactive problem solver.
  • Experience providing clear and concise communications for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • TS/SCI w/Poly clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of targeting workflows, tools and environments.
  • Experience with Large Language Models and agentic workflows.
  • Experience with graphical databases such as Neo4J.
  • Experience working with a hard target mission area.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the client with data acquisition, exploitation, engineering, and management tasks.
