Data Architect
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect for a long-term contract role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology roles, including software development, architecture, integration, and technology strategy. This position requires expertise in enterprise data modeling, meta-data modeling, database design, XML schema design, and information architecture practices. The role involves leading technology projects to develop integrated solutions that encompass process, data, and technology, and requires a deep understanding of data governance concepts. The Data Architect will be responsible for translating business needs into solution architecture requirements, applying multiple technical solutions to business problems, and estimating the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives. The ability to work effectively in a complex environment with conflicting priorities and to quickly understand new technologies is essential.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technology roles (software development, architecture, integration and/or technology strategy)
- Experience in enterprise data modeling, meta-data modeling, database design, XML schema design and information architecture practices
- Working knowledge of latest Data technologies and modeling practices
- Experience as a full stack architect
- Experience leading technology projects in developing integrated solutions involving process, data, and technology
- Strong conceptual, strategic thinking, problem solving, technical and analytical skills
- Leadership and interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
- Strong understanding of data governance concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and ability to support: translation of business needs into solution architecture requirements, application of multiple technical solutions to business problems, and estimation of the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment with often conflicting priorities
- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

- Business experience in HR domain
- Experience as a full stack architect with experience in Open source technologies
- Industry certification (Examples include ITIL, APICS, six sigma, Agile, etc.)
- Experience with business process design
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions
- Experience in information security schema modeling and design
