About The Position

Insight Enterprise is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our Data Management team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our data infrastructure, responsible for building and maintaining the robust data pipelines that power our AI and analytics initiatives, as well as our most critical enterprise systems. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and play a crucial part in ensuring our data is clean, reliable, and accessible. As an Architect I you will: Maintain and manage our enterprise-wide data lakehouse architecture, ensuring its scalability, performance, and security. Manage and optimize the data lakehouse environment, including the Databricks platform, to support both data science and business intelligence needs. Build, construct, and manage complex Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and data pipelines to ingest and transform data from a variety of internal and external sources. Implement robust data quality checks and monitoring to ensure the integrity and reliability of all data assets. Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the necessary data is available and optimized for business use cases. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, building and managing production data pipelines.
  • Expertise with Databricks for building and managing a data lakehouse.
  • Hands-on experience with data services in GCP and Azure.
  • Strong proficiency in building and optimizing ETL processes.
  • Proficient in Python and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Java is a plus.
  • Experience working with internal data platforms like Informatica and a solid understanding of data modeling for analytics platforms such as the Power BI analytics suite.
