About The Position
PiTech is a leading technology solutions provider specializing in IT consulting, data solutions, analytics, and process improvement. We are expanding our team and seeking talented professionals who can analyze, develop, and implement modern data management technologies and methods. Youll play a vital role in designing, maintaining, and operating enterprise-scale solutions that support all business units. As a Data Architect at PiTech, you will utilize your experience in business data analysis and customer engagement to drive our data initiatives. This hands-on position requires expertise in SQL, data analysis tools, and collaborating with business teams to deliver actionable insights. Success in this role depends on your ability to gather and document requirements, analyze source data, create technical specifications, and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while balancing multiple priorities.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in architecture and business data analysis for complex enterprise data warehouses and data lakes.
- Experience with developing architecture for cloud database platforms like Snowflake, RedShift, and Databricks
- Experience with Data Governance technology like Collibra and Data Integration tools like Informatica
- Strong Banking and Financial Services experience
Responsibilities
- Design and develop relational and multi-dimensional databases for enterprise data warehousing.
- Collaborate with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to plan, build, and enhance database applications and related assets.
- Assess current data structures and recommend improvements as needed.
- Develop data acquisition and backup/recovery strategies.
- Work with Database Administrators to migrate large-scale applications to test and production environments.
- Integrate new data sources into the data warehouse and drive continuous improvement of system functionality.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance data management.
- Consult with external vendors to implement third-party solutions.
- Manage data lifecycle, including archiving and purging obsolete data.
- Develop and enforce standards for data structures and models across the organization.
- Partner with various departments to design and implement data marts tailored to business needs.
