About The Position

At Accenture Federal Services, our purpose is to help the US federal government strengthen the nation, enhance public safety, and improve lives through technology and ingenuity. We are seeking a Data Architect to design and govern the entire data ecosystem of the War Data Platform. This role involves establishing the enterprise data model, defining standards for data storage (e.g., data lakes, warehouses, databases), and architecting data ingestion, processing pipelines (ETL/ELT), and data access. You will collaborate with GRC and security teams to embed data governance, quality, and protection policies into the architecture from the outset. The primary goal is to ensure data on the client's platform is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR), facilitating advanced analytics and AI/ML at scale.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or an additional 4 years equivalent experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
10 years of experience in data.
Expert knowledge designing enterprise data architectures and models.
5 years of experience leading data teams.
Expert architect and experience leading implementation teams.
Active TS/SCI clearance.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree.
Experience or skills in Cloud Architecture.

Responsibilities
