About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Data Architect. This is a contract position expected to last 12+ months. The role is located in Plano, TX. The main skills required are Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Governance. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for architecting logical, physical, and conceptual data models for Claims systems. You will also design data warehouse structures, including fact/dimension models, staging layers, and integration layers. Defining end-to-end data flows, lineage, and integration patterns across Claims and enterprise systems is a key responsibility. Additionally, you will build and optimize Python-driven data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, validation, and publishing of Claims data. This includes implementing automated data quality checks, profiling, reconciliation, and schema validation, as well as creating reusable Python utilities for metadata extraction, data cleansing, and Authorized Data Sources (ADS) compliance. A critical aspect of this role is ensuring compliance with Authorized Data Sources (ADS) policies, lineage requirements, and governance rules, and validating that all data consumed or produced aligns with enterprise data standards. You will partner with governance teams to maintain metadata, lineage, and auditability.
