About The Position

Bcore is seeking a Data Architect in Herndon, Virginia, to support customer missions. The position is part of the Mission Services division, which delivers enterprise IT, cloud solutions, DevSecOps, systems engineering, software development, and operational support to government and intelligence customers. The role focuses on data engineering and architecture in complex network and systems environments, including environments with shared networks and multiple security enclaves. The posting specifies a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Requirements

At least 11 years of experience.
Experience integrating diverse data streams.
Experience with data transfer tools such as NiFi or Cribl.
Experience analyzing complex networks and systems.
Experience analyzing log data from various network components and operating systems.
Knowledge of complex environments involving shared networks and multiple security enclaves.
Systems Engineer with a Data Engineer background.
Ability to manage and troubleshoot data feeds.
Familiarity with Splunk.
Python skills.
TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering (preferred).
Experience with Security Development and Operations (SecDevOps).
Hands-on Splunk experience and certifications.
Scripting tools such as Python, ShellScript, or Ansible.
Cloud security controls and implementation.
Public, private, and hybrid cloud experience, including AWS or Microsoft Azure.
AWS Certified Security Specialty.
