About The Position
Expedock is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated entry-level AI Data Annotator for project-based work. The role is suitable for someone interested in AI and computer vision who wants hands-on experience, including candidates new to working with these datasets. The position is remote and listed for the USA and LATAM. The annotator performs image segmentation and object labeling according to instructions, including polygons, bounding boxes, and semantic segmentation. Work may involve datasets depicting roads, vehicles, curbs, lane markings, satellite imagery, blueprints, and roofing. The role emphasizes accuracy, following guidelines and quality checks, meeting daily productivity goals, communicating with team leads about unclear tasks, and suggesting workflow improvements. Performance is measured by daily labeling throughput, annotation accuracy in QA reviews, and compliance with guidelines and turnaround times.
Requirements
- Good attention to detail and a careful eye for visual accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Perform image segmentation and object labeling using polygons, bounding boxes, and semantic segmentation, following provided instructions.
- Annotate datasets involving roads, vehicles, curbs, lane markings, satellite imagery, blueprints, roofing, and similar subjects.
- Follow quality assurance checks and labeling guidelines to ensure accuracy.
- Meet daily productivity goals and help keep projects on track.
- Ask questions and collaborate with team leads to resolve unclear labeling tasks.
- Suggest small improvements to make workflows easier and faster.
