Requirements

A university degree in finance or accounting.
A recent graduate or up to 2 years’ work experience in finance, accounting or financial services.
Strong technical and systems skills.
Experience in relationship management and client service.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Excellent time management, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
Autonomous/self-starter.

Nice To Haves

Accounting or fund administration specific experience is an asset.
VBA macros, a big asset.
SQL or other programming languages, an asset.
Knowledge of project management framework.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Vice President, the successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day operational support of our institutional clients.
The Data and Reporting Analyst will liaise with the Fund Admin team for process analysis and re-engineering of Data Management and Funds Accounting processes to provide better support in all aspects of portfolio accounting.
He/she will ensure that portfolio accounting data is maintained in relevant systems in a timely and accurate manner.
Design and implement processes for accounting and reporting; assist in client on-boarding process for new clients; assist in gathering client requirements and reporting.
Demonstrate keen awareness of industry and technology.
Work with internal and external parties to resolve issues and further develop bespoke client solutions.
Participate in various projects.
