About The Position

The Data Scientist will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modelling to transform enterprise data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. Working with structured and unstructured data from multiple business systems, you will develop predictive models, uncover trends, and deliver analytical solutions that improve business performance. As part of the Enterprise Information & Intelligence team, you will collaborate with business leaders, data engineers, BI developers, and solution architects to build scalable analytics solutions and accelerate the organization's data-driven culture.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Applied Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or in a similar advanced analytics role
• Strong experience applying machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques to solve real-world business problems
• Advanced proficiency with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and experience using machine learning libraries
• Strong knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model evaluation, and model optimization
• Experience designing and executing A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and predictive analytics
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing large, complex datasets
• Experience working with cloud-based analytics platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Azure services such as: Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Lake Storage
• Experience designing data pipelines and preparing datasets for advanced analytics
• Understanding of dimensional modelling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
• Experience communicating complex analytical findings to business stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Experience with Power BI, including data modeling and DAX, for delivering analytical dashboards and executive reportingmodelling
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers)

Nice To Haves

• Experience deploying and monitoring machine learning models in production (MLOps)
• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or AI assistants
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern lakehouse architectures
• Knowledge of Spark, PySpark, or distributed data processing
• Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM and Finance & Operations (F&O)
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataflows)
• Experience working with enterprise semantic models and modern BI platforms
• Familiarity with responsible AI, model governance, and explainable AI techniques

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive, prescriptive, and statistical models to solve complex business problems
• Explore and analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and business opportunities
• Design, build, validate, and deploy machine learning models for forecasting, classification, clustering, recommendation, and anomaly detection
• Apply statistical methods and experimentation techniques to validate business hypotheses and measure the impact of business initiatives
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical and data science solutions
• Build feature engineering pipelines and prepare datasets for advanced analytics and machine learning
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical datasets using Azure cloud technologies
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to design enterprise data models and optimize data architecture for analytics
• Create dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to communicate insights, model results, and key business metrics to technical and non-technical audiences
• Work with enterprise data sources including Dynamics 365 CRM, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), and other operational systems
• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the performance and accuracy of analytical and machine learning models
• Promote best practices in data science, data governance, model governance, and responsible AI
• Document analytical methodologies, model assumptions, and implementation processes
