About The Position

Equifax is seeking recent college graduates for data scientist positions within its US Information Services team, specifically for the Data and Analytics Rotational Program. This program offers state-of-the-art solutions to current and emerging business challenges through data analytics, customer insights, predictive modeling, and consulting services. Associates will leverage Equifax’s unique data assets and cutting-edge technologies to solve business problems for Equifax and its customers, focusing on data science, validation, data processing, customer interactions, and data products. The program involves creative and efficient problem-solving to create risk and marketing solutions for Equifax customers.

Requirements

• Graduate students obtaining a Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, or Computer Science or a related STEM field
• Availability for full-time employment on June 7, 2027 (Spring 2027 graduation dates)
• Experience with ingesting, analyzing and summarizing large data sets
• Experience with code development in Python, Hive, Impala, R or SAS
• Experience operating in a Unix/Linux operating system and with Hadoop or other database technologies
• Extensive experience utilizing Google Suite
• Strong communication skills are necessary including the ability to explain methodologies and results to business partners

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Spotfire, Tableau) a plus
• Agentic development experience

Responsibilities

• Work with project leads to leverage Equifax’s unique data assets and cutting edge technologies, like our Hadoop analytics platform to solve business problems for Equifax and our customers.
• Rotate through 3 to 4 different areas within Data and Analytics.
• Creatively and efficiently solve analytical problems and create risk and marketing solutions for Equifax customers.
• Focus on data science, validation, data processing, direct customer interactions, and data products.
• Analyze business/marketing intelligence, score development, and score validations.
• Audit the implementation of products and analytic solutions.
• Create business intelligence visualizations of insights for customers and data asset summaries for data quality assessments.
