About The Position

The Manager, Performance Analytics & Insights, leads the development and execution of advanced analytics, reporting solutions, and strategic insights that drive business performance across Assurant’s Protection Services. This role serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating complex data into actionable recommendations that improve operational efficiency, client outcomes, financial performance, and strategic decision-making. The position combines technical expertise in business intelligence, reporting automation, data governance, and analytics with strong business acumen and executive communication skills. The Manager partners with internal leaders and external stakeholders to develop scalable analytics solutions, identify performance opportunities, support forecasting efforts, and influence strategic business decisions through data-driven insights.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative discipline.
7+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, data management, performance reporting, or related analytical functions.
5+ years of experience developing executive-level reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions. Experience supporting operational, financial, sales, or business performance initiatives.
Demonstrated success influencing decisions through data-driven insights.
2+ years of recent experience in direct client engagement and developing “Go to Action Plans” from data insights.
Strong Experience with: Python and SQL
PowerBI
AWS and/or Azure environments
Data visualization and reporting platforms
Data transformation and automation tools
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to transform complex data into actionable business recommendations.

Establish controls and monitoring to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
Partner with data engineering and technology teams to improve data accessibility and scalability.
Serve as a strategic analytics advisor to internal business leaders and external stakeholders.
Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and client audiences.
Support cross-functional initiatives that require integrated analytics and performance measurement.
