Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to join our Audience Insights team through the Young Canada Works at Building Careers in Heritage (YCWBCH) program. This internship offers a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to contribute to ROM’s growing data and analytics capabilities, supporting the Museum’s transition toward more data-informed decision-making. Working within a collaborative, cross-functional environment, the intern will gain hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting data on visitation, audience engagement, and institutional performance. The Data Analytics Intern will contribute to meaningful, real-world projects that support strategic planning and operational insights across the Museum. This includes working with a variety of datasets such as survey data, ticketing and CRM data, and digital analytics to uncover trends, generate insights, and support reporting for internal stakeholders. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a strong interest in data analytics, who is looking to apply their academic training in a practical setting while building a portfolio of applied analytical work within the arts and cultural sector. This role will provide exposure to the full analytics lifecycle, from data preparation and analysis to visualization and stakeholder presentation.
