About The Position
HGS Bioscience is a fast-growing, agriculture-based manufacturing team headquartered in Jacksonville, FL. We're seeking a motivated Data Analytics & IT Intern to support our growing technology initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. This role will provide frontline technical support to team members while assisting with infrastructure planning and the integration of AI-enabled business tools, including Claude, to improve efficiency and productivity across the organization.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and testing of AI tools, including Claude, to enhance business operations.
- Help develop user documentation, training materials, and technology best practices.
- Assist with technology deployments, equipment setup, and general business analytics projects.
- Assist with documenting and reviewing current systems infrastructure and technology processes.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
