About The Position

PNC is seeking individuals to join their Data Analytics Development Program. This program is designed for recent university/college graduates to explore their potential through hands-on experience in a professional environment. The goal is to transition analysts and associates from development roles into production roles within PNC's lines of business. Participants will gain proficiency in advanced analytical techniques for data manipulation, analysis, interpretation, and visualization. The 18-month program involves coursework, projects, and full embedding within business lines to develop data products. Associates will gain exposure to commercial portfolio analytics, data engineering, machine learning, and data visualization. Upon completion, they are expected to have a strong background in data analysis, computational modeling, programming languages (SQL, Python, R), product development, and the big data ecosystem. Successful completion may lead to roles in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Visualization, primarily located in Pittsburgh, PA. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture.

Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience, but possessing relevant skills.
Includes individuals joining the organization through a Corporate development/ training program.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

Participates as an analyst/associate in the line of business development program.
Performs or assists the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g. deal, sales, or process support, internal or external customer interaction, or supporting internal projects).
Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.
Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g. identifies and networks with business representatives and peers, participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach).
Participates in formal learning (e.g. classroom, web-based, or virtual) and completes related activities and projects.
Supports the internal and external customer experience by providing excellent service at all times; takes accountability and ensures problem resolution.
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
