Requirements

>14-18+ years of delivery, build & design experience in core data capabilities like Technical Solutioning, Data Modelling, Planning, Estimation, Execution and Services.
Expertise in building end-to-end data analytics architecture and ownership of implementations, preferably 8-10 yrs in a financial services company, especially insurance.
Experience in building and scaling-up the teams, horizontally as well as vertically.
Experience in managing People, for team with seniority spectrum ranging fresher to >18 yrs.
7-10+ years’ experience in development, 5 of which in the capacity of Development and/or Delivery Manager.
5+ years’ experience acting in the capacity Senior Project roles for sizable IT projects.
Strong experience in delivering projects in Big Data related projects using AWS data lake technologies like Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lambda and open source technologies like Python, Spark, Hive, Data Lake, Cassandra.
Excellent reporting and stakeholder communications and must have managed reporting at leadership level to senior stakeholders.
Extremely strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills. This includes skills such as conceptual requirements interpretation, solution creation, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent collaboration and leadership skills, a proven ability to adapt to challenges, and a strong interest in coaching and mentoring colleagues.
Experience with productionizing services at scale and related change management.
Experience with project management and software development life cycle /SDLC; waterfall and agile (5+ years).
Proven experience in leading solutions for ODS, data warehouse system integrations.
Strong experience in leading DevOps enablement and adoption programs across 2-3 projects across on premise and on cloud data technologies.
Excellent Presentation skills is a must using technical writing, Visio, PowerPoint, flowcharting (5+ years).

Nice To Haves

Good to have delivery management experience in data analytics and visualization solutions using any modern age tools like SAS, AWS Sagemaker, R Studio, Tableau.

Responsibilities

Provide delivery management & leadership on the design & end to end solutions for building data & analytics applications on cloud and on premise platforms.
Ensure adherence of best practices to all solution architecture, design areas, including on-prem, AWS, or a combination. This includes areas such as Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, and Cost Optimization.
Lead team of 30+ data designers, data & DevOps engineers, both within your team and within other ES or Business units, in order to support solution development and applications.
Enable the expansion of the Data Analytics - Solutions center of excellence, through education support, publication of solution accelerators, and open discussions on data challenges and opportunities.
Translate detailed requirements into functional specifications.
Provide high level estimates for project proposals and solution designs.
Integrate with project teams according to Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology for either waterfall or agile projects.
Conduct Proof of Technologies on the new technologies on on-cloud and traditional data management, engineering, visualizations & analytics technologies to recommend the choice of technology for adoption at an enterprise level.
Work closely with the Enterprise Data Architecture team to approve data patterns, technologies and seek architecture approvals.
Work with the solutions design team to drive data & analytics strategy across enterprise.
Provides consultation for the evaluation of complex data and software systems.
Strong hands-on experience in delivering data analytics solution with proven business value.
Drive DevOps (CI/CD) automation initiatives across Data analytics platform.
Build and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups, or personnel.
Must be data oriented with metric-driven approach for initiatives owned, able to articulate value with impact in non-technical terms.
Demonstrate strong ownership and quality focus, responsive and detail orientation.
T-shaped professional with deep expertise in data technologies across conventional as well as Cloud technologies, and broader experience in various disciplines of Data Delivery lifecycle (like Data Modeling, Governance, Master Data Management, Analytics, Visualization etc) as well as business functional knowledge (preferably in Financial service/ Insurance).
Keen Learner and Fast to scale-up on variety of technology domains in Data technologies.
Able to collaborate and create value brining together data expertise to solve critical business problems, be tech savvy and lead innovation in Data technologies.
Demonstrate strong orientation and value delivery in usage, applying and deriving value through GenAI/ AI-enablement.
Ensure information security standards and requirements are incorporated.
Contribute to the ongoing support, stability and performance of application systems in production including problem analysis, resolution, escalation and reporting.
