About The Position

Zurich's Complete-a-Bachelor's Apprenticeship offers a unique two-year program for individuals with an associate degree or rising juniors to complete their bachelor's degree while gaining hands-on experience in commercial insurance. This program combines online coursework through the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) with practical experience and professional development at Zurich's Anoka, MN office. The Data Analytics Bachelor's Apprentice will join the Crop Analytics Group, focusing on data analytics and gaining insight into risk management practices. Apprentices will work under supervision, collaborate with experienced professionals, and be assigned a mentor. This role provides exposure to data sources, data pulling techniques, and mathematical/financial duties, along with opportunities to learn reporting metrics, use tools like Power BI, SAS, and SQL, and shadow various departments to understand the crop insurance industry.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Business or related field or rising Junior with two years of coursework in Business or related field
No prior years of experience in the insurance area
Contingent on admittance into University of Arizona Global Campus Bachelor of Business Administration program
Legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely

Minimum cumulative current grade point average of 3.0
Experience with Power BI, Python, SAS, Visual Basic

Responsibilities
