Data Analytics and Insights Engineer II
About The Position
As an Analytics and Insights Engineer II on the project, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and delivery of data-driven insights. You will combine data analysis with elements of data science, leveraging solid proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and modeling. You will also use Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports, and may apply geospatial analysis using ArcGIS as needed. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, develop analytical solutions, and clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in data science, statistics, or mathematics experience using R, Python, or other scripting language
- 2+ years creating data visualizations or reporting utilizing Power BI
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role
- Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a work model that requires professionals to co-locate in person 4 days per week in Arlington, VA.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
