Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of statistics, and experience conducting analyses and evaluating program outcomes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Power BI or similar reporting tools and relational databases and query tools such as SQL.
  • Ability to clean and transform data and create clear, organized reports and dashboards.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and findings clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively.
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to learn and apply, applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Business, Data Analytics, Program Evaluation or a related field, and at least two (2) years of related work experience preferably in conducting data analysis or program evaluation and managing outcomes for community-based programs or social sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good driving record and a valid driver's license in Virginia or regional state of residence.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Business, Data Analytics, Program Evaluation or a related field.
  • Experience evaluating program outcomes.
  • Experience using Power BI for data cleaning and transformation.
  • Familiarity with navigating electronic health record systems.
  • Knowledge of or practical experience in community behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties including data collection, analysis, reporting, outcomes measurement, trend analysis, technical support, program evaluation and quality improvement functions.
  • Analyze, prepare, and present data for recurring and ad hoc data requests.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to support data-driven decision making for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain reporting manuals and commit to best practices in data analysis processes.
  • Assist in program evaluation through outcomes development, assistance in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) projects, and process and outcome evaluations.
  • Use data to make recommendations for improvement initiatives, Department goals, and increasing the quality of care.
  • Serve as a data consultant and technical expert, collaborating with Department management and staff to provide support related to data collection, analysis, data interpretation, outcomes measurement, and software utilization.
