About The Position

This role involves performing data analysis between different data sets to identify discrepancies and ensure validation. The Data Analyst will support Power BI Models for KPI tracking, collaborate with cross-functional partners to facilitate purchase orders and changes, and act as a liaison between Senior Cost Managers and Finance for accruals and prepaid invoices. The position also requires creating and maintaining cash flow dashboards, compiling data for project buyout analytics, maintaining weekly updates for minor project budgets, and compiling market data on construction material costs for buyout evaluations.

Requirements

  • Strong and proven capability using excel to analyze large data sets.
  • Experience with Power BI and other modeling software platforms.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical, creative thinking, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with computers including the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Power BI.
  • Works well in a team environment and independently, gives and receives clear expectations.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Expertise in using professional data analysis and visualization tools, along with proficiency in programming languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with construction management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Certification in data analysis or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis between data sets to recognize differences and validation.
  • Support for Power BI Models to enable KPI tracking.
  • Work closely with various cross functional partners to facilitate the issuance of Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Changes.
  • Liaison between Senior Cost Managers and Finance to report accruals and prepaid invoices.
  • Create and maintain cash flow dashboards.
  • Compile and maintain data for project buyout analytics.
  • Maintain weekly updates for minor project budgets.
  • Compile and maintain market data on construction material costs for use in buyout evaluations.
