Data Analyst - Delta Point
About The Position
The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)/Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul – Supply (MRO-S) Functional Management Office (FMO) requires the support of Data Analyst. This position will provide Data Analysis to support the MRO/MRO-S development, test, and production deployments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Conduct research, collect, and analyze data. Develops methods for obtaining the data they need. For example, sampling techniques may be used to conduct a survey and various mathematical modeling techniques may be used to develop forecasts. Prepares reports, including tables and charts, on research results. Ability to collect data, organize, validate, and produce production ready data from numerous sources. Familiarity with Air Force Maintenance systems data, processes, and business rules a plus. Execute data validation and curation activities per direction.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience of data analysis
- Previous DOD or Air Force Experience
- Analyzing and organizing Air Force Maintenance Data
- Experience with Systems Integrations
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, SharePoint, Word, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Basic mathematical skills required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze problems/issues, gather data and information, evaluate, and recommend alternative solutions.
- Advanced skill and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Planner and Project
