About The Position

ServiceCore is seeking an energetic, inquisitive, and experienced Data Analyst to join their hybrid office/WFH team based in Denver, CO. This role is for an experienced contributor (approximately 3-7 years) who will build reporting and Business Intelligence solutions, as well as AI-powered data products for customers. The position sits at the intersection of customer support, product management, and data analysis for external products. As a customer-facing role, interactions will involve internal teams, end-users, and customers, requiring a high level of consultation, discovery of user needs, customization, and up-selling relevant offerings. The focus is on understanding customer business needs, operational processes, and creatively building effective and visually appealing reporting visualizations. The role offers ongoing training, advancement potential, and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and team players with a track record of success.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Business Analyst, BizOps Analyst, BI Engineer, Data Engineer, or Data Scientist.
  • Previous experience on a team of data analysts or BI analysts.
  • Demonstrated ability to consult effectively with various organizational groups and customers on challenging data and reporting needs.
  • Past experience working directly with or consulting with end-users and customers.
  • Mastery of at least one BI toolset (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Sisense, Looker).
  • Eagerness to discover and utilize automation and AI tooling for faster delivery; experience using AI outputs as a first draft requiring review and revision (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor).
  • Experience with and/or exposure to a variety of data storage (relational, NoSQL, data warehouse solutions) and database engines (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle DB, MySQL, Postgres).
  • Experience with at least one cloud data platform (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
  • Working knowledge of common data warehouse modeling schemes (e.g., snowflake schema, star schema, galaxy schema, star cluster schema).
  • Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and a curious, open mind.
  • Understanding of business drivers, creative data visualization, and solving operational business challenges through data analysis.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Directly build, test, and maintain reporting and dashboard offerings for customers using Sigma, Snowflake, and AI automation.
  • Define and develop AI-assisted and AI-native data products for customers, such as predictive operational insights or AI-generated narrative summaries.
  • Shape future product development, not just maintain existing features.
  • Create reports that are accurate, effective, and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Collaborate with customers to analyze data and understand product performance and business operations.
  • Work closely with Product Management and UI/UX teams to style and evolve the presentation of data reports and dashboards.
  • Actively identify up-sell opportunities for premium or custom reports, Snowflake Data Sharing, or API access.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively across engineering, customer support, and product teams.
  • Participate in future team growth, potentially including recruiting and interviewing.
