About The Position

pureIntegration is a technology consulting firm with 22+ years of experience servicing Fortune 100 clients headquartered in the DC area, serving clients in the fastest growing industry of communications, media, and entertainment. We are looking for a hands-on Data Analyst who can dig into data, identify patterns, and help answer why things are happening. You will work closely with a Lead Analyst to perform deep-dive analysis, validate data, and contribute to insights that drive business decisions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, critical thinking, and working with real-world messy data. This position is fully remote within the U.S. and will be a W-2 hourly engagement for 6 to 9 months. The hourly range is $40/hr - $50/hr. Candidates will be paid based on their work experience and skills. Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, advanced reporting, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working with data analysis (beyond basic reporting).
• Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, filtering).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, analysis).
• Exposure to: Trend analysis
• Exposure to: Data validation
• Exposure to: Basic root cause analysis
• Ability to think critically and ask “why” questions
• Good communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Tableau or MicroStrategy experience
• Experience working with large datasets or data warehouses
• Exposure to business problem-solving or analytics use cases

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets using SQL and Excel to identify trends and patterns
• Support root cause analysis and deep-dive investigations
• Perform segmentation and drill-down analysis to identify key drivers
• Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy
• Assist in developing insights and recommendations
• Create clear summaries and visualizations for stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex business problems
