About The Position

Under direction, participates in planned program evaluation by analyzing, abstracting, entering and managing data in the Center's databases. Monitors and maintains relevant databases. Also coordinates presentation of data and abstract, grant writing, and manuscript writing as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • At least one (1) year of clinical/research databases and clinical/research experience Required
  • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel)
  • Advanced proficiency with database management systems (Access, Oracle)
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to gather, analyze and make recommendations/decisions based on data

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or information technology related field Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage data collection activities to support Center evaluation aims using programs such as REDCap.
  • Lead qualitative data analysis and conduct qualitative data collection as needed.
  • Conduct descriptive statistical analysis of evaluation data to support program improvement.
  • Develop and maintain IRB documentation for Center evaluation projects as necessary.
  • Conduct primary data collection activities to support evaluation projects as needed.
  • Conduct qualitative interviews of program participants and systematically analyze qualitative data to identify emergent themes.
  • Work with Center staff to develop mechanisms for monitoring evaluation metrics to facilitate program improvement activities.
  • Coordinate abstract, grant, and manuscript writing and data presentation as required.
  • Monitor and maintain Center databases.
  • Conduct literature reviews to identify relevant evaluation methodologies and keep up to date with REDCap capabilities as well as related software and technology.
  • Keep up to date with relevant evaluation efforts in the field of Health Equity.
  • Support Center interns as needed.
