About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Data Analyst for an onsite, 12+ month contract opportunity with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This role is crucial for the Employee Experience Technology (EET) organization to reduce cybersecurity risk and improve performance against key risk metrics. The analysts will focus on accelerating vulnerability analysis, prioritization, and remediation activities across software and infrastructure portfolios. They will work with technology, engineering, infrastructure, and risk teams to transform vulnerability and risk data into actionable insights that drive remediation planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to translate data analysis into actionable recommendations and remediation plans.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, and data visualization capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Basic understanding of information technology infrastructure, including operating systems, servers, applications, and networking concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), programming concepts, and software testing practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify trends, patterns, and root causes within large datasets.
  • Experience working with data from multiple sources and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across matrixed teams.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or technology risk concepts.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Identify trends, prioritize risk exposure, and ensure teams have the information needed to make informed decisions that reduce security vulnerabilities and improve operational resilience.
  • Analyze vulnerability data to uncover systemic issues, identify cross-functional impacts, and highlight opportunities to streamline remediation efforts.
  • Partner with engineering, enterprise security, and infrastructure teams to drive consistent remediation strategies, improve risk management practices, and accelerate risk reduction outcomes across the organization.
