About The Position

We are looking for a motivated Data Analyst ready to take us to the next level! We are looking for a Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position will be a contract and onsite in Miramar, FL. Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3–5+ years of professional experience in a data analyst or similar technical role
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation
  • Solid experience with SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and performance considerations
  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows from multiple data sources
  • Comfortable working in Linux/Unix operating systems, including command-line usage and basic system troubleshooting
  • Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or shell scripting)
  • Foundational IT knowledge, including: Linux and Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, ports, and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple structured and semi-structured sources
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines that ingest data from databases, APIs, flat files, and other sources
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing, automation, and validation
  • Operate within Linux/Unix environments to manage scripts, review logs, schedule jobs, and troubleshoot issues
  • Perform data quality checks and resolve data integrity issues
  • Produce recurring reports and perform ad hoc analyses to support business and technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business teams to resolve data availability or performance issues
  • Document data sources, pipelines, scripts, and operational processes
  • Contribute to improving data processes, automation, and best practices
