About The Position

The Data Analyst performs analysis of audit and survey data; identifies trends, supports dashboards, and delivers insights for reporting and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Experience finding, identifying, collecting, aggregating, manipulating, and processing data;
• Experience with administrative claims and survey methodologies, including interpretation and evaluation of survey data;
• Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods;
• Experience in monitoring data quality standards and determining areas of improvement;
• Experience performing exploratory analysis issues or limitations with data, as well population characteristics;
• Experience preparing large-scale complex datasets to use in statistical and other data models (e.g., financial analysis, actuarial analysis, and/or integration or clinical data);
• Experience with programming languages and/or packages (experience with open source (e.g., Python, SQL, and/or R) is preferred);
• Demonstrated ability to use advanced analytical methods (e.g., statistical and/or machine learning);
• Experience with data communication and visualizations to explain complex analytical concepts to various audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collect, aggregate, manipulate, and process data from multiple sources to support analytical and reporting needs.
• Analyze administrative claims and survey data, including interpreting results and evaluating data quality and outcomes.
• Design and apply both qualitative and quantitative research methods to support data‑driven insights.
• Monitor and maintain data quality standards, identifying gaps and implementing improvements where needed.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, limitations, and insights related to data sets and target populations.
• Prepare and structure large, complex datasets for use in statistical modeling and advanced analyses, including financial, actuarial, and clinical applications.
• Develop and execute data analyses using programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL, and/or R.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques, including statistical modeling and machine learning, to solve business and research problems.
• Create clear data visualizations and communications to translate complex findings into actionable insights for a variety of audiences.
