Requirements

Must be eligible for a DHS suitability clearance;
4 years of professional experience in the area of data science or data engineering;
BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Science (Physics or Chemistry only), or Mathematics with 24 semester credit hours in quantitative analysis;
Validated analytical, creative, and effective problem solving skills, with the ability to present solutions both in written and oral format;
Solid understanding of applying mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods to real world problems;
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access
US Citizenship
Hybrid, must live in Metro DC area

Nice To Haves

Experience using R, Tableau, or Power BI
Active DHS suitability or DoD secret clearance
Experience with DoD or DHS acquisition programs

Responsibilities

Apply extensive knowledge and experience to obtain, integrate, and report client data and develop and apply analytic methodologies and principles;
Lead the application of analytic techniques and help define project objectives and strategic direction;
Resolve complex problems which require an in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles;
Create and promulgate data collection templates, maintain databases, and work with various analytical tools;
Analyze acquisition data, formulate conclusions and recommendations, design and develop materials, and evaluate effectiveness in accordance with stated guidelines, speculations, and models;
Conduct research, data gathering, and technical reviews;
Produce written deliverables to include reports, spreadsheets, databases, formal process mapping, technical design, system testing and implementation activities;
Troubleshoot issues in reports related to data; assimilate, integrate, and interface technical knowledge with business/system requirements;
Manage client relationships and expectations
