The Part-Time Data Analyst supports the Pathways to Recovery (PTR): A Reentry Diversion Initiative, a two-year demonstration project funded by the BMS Foundation to strengthen continuity of behavioral health care for justice-involved adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. The Data Analyst will support with developing and maintaining reliable data collection, analysis, performance monitoring, and reporting systems that measure program implementation, participant engagement, continuity of care, and outcomes during the critical transition from incarceration to community living. Working collaboratively with PTR management, clinical and quality improvement teams, and external evaluation partner Chestnut Health Systems, the Data Analyst supports the evaluation of program effectiveness, implementation fidelity, and achievement of grant objectives. The program emphasizes participant engagement during the first 30 days following release, retention in behavioral health treatment, housing stability, healthcare utilization, and reductions in criminal justice involvement. The position supports data-driven decision-making by identifying service gaps, monitoring performance trends, developing actionable dashboards, and producing timely, accurate reports for program leadership, funders, and evaluation partners. The Data Analyst also contributes to the development of evidence supporting long-term program sustainability, potential Medicaid financing strategies, and replication of effective reentry practices. The position requires a strong commitment to data accuracy, confidentiality, ethical data management, and the responsible use of sensitive behavioral health and criminal justice information. This position is contingent upon the continuation of grant funding.
