About The Position

As a Data Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting customers within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). In this role, you will help drive data‑informed decision‑making by collecting, transforming, integrating, and analyzing data to identify trends, assess performance, and create meaningful visualizations. Collect, integrate, and analyze complex datasets to uncover insights that support mission objectives. Develop intuitive, interactive, and visually compelling dashboards (e.g., in Power BI) for users with a wide range of technical backgrounds. Define data requirements and ensure data is properly stored, accessible, and aligned with client needs. Create and maintain data governance documentation, tools, and templates. Collaborate with non‑technical stakeholders to gather, understand, and refine requirements. Identify and document data quality and fidelity issues; provide recommendations for remediation. Build tools, resources, and reports to support data requests and ongoing analysis needs. Operate effectively in a hybrid work environment, including on‑site client work, Guidehouse offices, and remote settings.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (or higher) security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in data engineering, data visualization, data integration, or database management.
  • Experience ensuring data accuracy and usability through data quality management and integration using tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Proven experience creating data visualizations and dashboards with Power BI.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong proficiency in SQL (or similar tools), including querying and joining large datasets.
  • Understanding of relational database design and structures.
  • Hands‑on experience with data wrangling and analysis in R or Python.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively on cross‑functional teams.
