About The Position

Under the direction of the Senior Director of Data Analytics, Grants, & Compliance, the DVHRT Data Analyst provides support, analysis, and data collection for the Domestic Violence High Risk Team (DVHRT). The DVHRT is a multi-disciplinary team that staffs domestic violence cases at highest risk for subsequent homicide to provide necessary services and interventions intended to prevent future violence and homicide. Working closely with the Coordinator of the DVHRT and the Director of Outcomes & Evaluation, this position is responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement in current screening, preparation, staffing, and response of staffed cases. This position is responsible for entering, maintaining, and analyzing data for the DVHRT case reviews. Additionally, this position will compile reports as needed. This position will create sustainability processes and solutions for improved DVHRT team functioning ultimately freeing other team members’ capacity to respond to clients and community outreach to prevent DV homicide.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to complete process improvement projects
  • Knowledge of basic to intermediate data analytic techniques and proclivity for recognizing patterns and identifying efficiencies
  • Comfort and experience working with partners in the criminal justice and legal system (e.g., law enforcement, district attorney, probation & parole, etc.)
  • Experience working with multiple data systems
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, SPSS, Salesforce, and Osnium
  • Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • a minimum of 2 year past experience analyzing data and participating in and completing process improvement projects
  • Formal statistical training.
  • Prior lived experience working in positions serving vulnerable populations, especially populations experiencing violence.

Responsibilities

  • Screen cases for staffing by the DVHRT according to specific criteria.
  • Participate in weekly DVHRT meetings.
  • Gather, analyze, and summarize data in preparation for weekly case staffings.
  • Gather and record data related to DVHRT cases before, during, and after meetings including obtaining further information for incomplete data.
  • Regular (e.g., monthly) reporting to the DVHRT partner agencies.
  • Preparation of yearly summary DVHRT report.
  • Record DVHRT client activities in agency electronic case management software
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in current screening, preparation, staffing, and response of staffed cases. Create sustainability processes/solutions for improved DVHRT team functioning.
  • Respond to requests for information and / or data in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Coordinator of the DVHRT in communicating post-case staffing recommendations to DVHRT members and referral sources outside the DVHRT.
  • Gather and prepare data and information for other MDTs (Multi-disciplinary teams) and reviews periodically (e.g., shoot reviews, homicide reviews, CART reviews, child death reviews, etc.)
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies.
  • Adhere to, implement and enforce all agency policies to include the Confidentiality Policy.
  • Ability to work a regular schedule and have regular attendance at the workplace.
