About The Position

We are looking for a Data Analyst – Transmission Calibration & Automation Engineer to support gear shift transmission calibration projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing calibration and testing data, developing automation tools, and improving team workflows through efficient data processing and reporting solutions. The position combines data analytics, software development, and automotive engineering to help calibration teams make data-driven decisions and optimize transmission performance.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or General Engineering.
  • Good command of technical English (emails, conducting meetings, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with Pandas
  • Experience with Polars
  • Experience with Flask
  • Experience with Dash (Plotly Framework)
  • Knowledge of CANape.
  • Understanding of CAN Network communication.
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Experience using Bitbucket / Git
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Intermediate proficiency in French.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with MF4, MDF, and DAT files.
  • Experience in desktop application development using Tkinter
  • Experience in desktop application development using Qt / PyQt / PySide
  • Familiarity with automotive calibration and testing environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Good communication and reporting capabilities.
  • Passion for data analysis, automation, and process optimization.
  • Interest in automotive systems and transmission calibration technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret transmission calibration and testing data.
  • Develop automated tools to streamline data analysis and reporting activities.
  • Create dashboards and data visualization solutions to support engineering teams.
  • Generate technical reports and present findings to project stakeholders.
  • Improve project and team workflows through software development and process automation.
  • Collaborate with calibration, testing, and development teams.
  • Use JIRA for task tracking and project management.
  • Manage code repositories and contribute to development activities using Bitbucket.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives with innovative data-driven solutions.
