About The Position

Gordon Food Service is offering a 12-week paid internship program at its Home Office, providing firsthand experience and meaningful projects that impact the business. Interns will work alongside industry professionals, receiving mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities. This internship is an opportunity to build connections, careers, and a future at one of North America's largest food service distributors. The program allows interns to work directly with the Imports & Commodities team, collaborating with other interns and employees across various departments such as Communications, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, IT, Marketing & Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Sales.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business/Data Analytics or Computer Science
Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze business processes and construct tailored reports and automation solutions, thereby streamlining workflows and replacing manual tracking methods from BOS.
Develop and maintain standardized operational reports to address recurring requirements across the organization.
Support data management initiatives within BOS, enabling the Operations team to prioritize strategic ERP development.
Facilitate the transition and validation of existing reporting assets and automated processes to ensure uninterrupted functionality within the new ERP system.
Assist with functional testing and quality assurance for the new ERP platform.
Gain hands-on experience using and developing intelligent systems to deliver real-world business impact.
