About The Position

Medica is a nonprofit health plan with more than a million members that serves communities in Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Missouri, and beyond. We deliver personalized health care experiences and partner closely with providers to ensure members are genuinely cared for. We're a team that owns our work with accountability, makes data-driven decisions, embraces continuous learning, and celebrates collaboration — because success is a team sport. It's our mission to be there in the moments that matter most for our members and employees. Join us in creating a community of connected care, where coordinated, quality service is the norm and every member feels valued. Medica will host a 12-week, paid Internship Program. Interns will have the opportunity to network within Medica and with other Interns through weekly Lunch and Learns and opportunities to hear from Executives. Each internship offers a meaningful experience and impactful projects you’ll be able to discuss with future employers. At Medica, we look forward to our Summer Internship Program each year. Medica's Data Analyst Intern supports the analytics team by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support operational decision-making. This internship provides hands-on experience working with real business data, building reports and dashboards, monitoring trends, and documenting data processes. The intern will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, gaining exposure to analytical tools, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives. By the end of the internship, the intern will have developed an automated operational dashboard and accompanying documentation.
