About The Position

The ProdataKey Data Insights Intern will support the collection, analysis, and reporting of business data to help drive informed decision-making across the organization. Working alongside the Data Analyst and business stakeholders, the intern will gain hands-on experience with data reporting, visualization, and business intelligence tools while contributing to projects that support sales, finance, product, operations, engineering, and customer service teams. This role is ideal for a college student pursuing a degree in a quantitative or technical field who is interested in developing practical data analytics skills in a fast-paced technology company.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Junior, senior, or graduate-level standing preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
• Exposure to Python, R, or another programming language used for data analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of basic statistical concepts and analytical methods.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly through written and verbal communication.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and data analysis activities.
• Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable business insights.
• Help collect, organize, clean, and validate data from multiple systems and sources.
• Collaborate with team members to identify key metrics and performance indicators across the business.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Assist in documenting data sources, business definitions, reporting processes, and data workflows.
• Support data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies and helping resolve data issues.
• Participate in ad hoc analysis projects and present findings to stakeholders as appropriate.
• Learn and apply data analytics best practices, tools, and methodologies.
