About The Position
Veterinary United is seeking a motivated Data Analyst Intern to support data collection, reporting, and data quality activities. The position is suited to a student seeking practical experience working with business data and analytical systems. It is based in person at Veterinary United headquarters in Clinton Township, Michigan; remote and hybrid work are not available. Full-time hours are preferred, with flexible part-time hours available. The internship is unpaid, and students able to receive academic credit are preferred.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar quantitative field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and computer software.
- Ability to work independently and follow established processes.
- Interest in data analysis and business intelligence.

- Enrollment in a program that provides academic credit for internship participation.
Responsibilities
- Pull and compile data from various software systems and data sources.
- Review reports and extract relevant data for analysis and reporting.
- Maintain data sources and ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
- Check data for accuracy, completeness, and inconsistencies.
- Assist with organizing and preparing data for analysis and internal reporting.
- Support other data and analytical projects as needed.
