About The Position

This role focuses on managing day-to-day results reporting and visualization through research and analysis of data. The Data Analyst II will analyze data to discover and interpret trends, patterns, and relationships, and help provide effective and strategic business solutions. This position will monitor and evaluate trends for performance and growth opportunities, and work cross-functionally to establish instrumentation and reporting standards. The analyst will create dashboards and reports to communicate KPIs and actionable data, and review data quality to provide guidance and controls to upstream data providers and sources. Additionally, the role involves triaging requests, gathering user requirements, and facilitating ad hoc report and data requests with a quick and efficient turn-around. Communication with Data Analyst team members on findings, solutions, and recommendations is key, as is participation in the on-call support rotation. The Data Analyst II will also serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned departments, creating and maintaining KPI dashboards/reports, documenting critical reports, and building rapport with managers, stakeholders, and users to provide expert advice. This includes attending meetings, providing insights on departmental statistics, and collaborating with other resources to support data integrity within the enterprise data warehouse and various system databases. The role also involves working with stakeholders/management in planning, strategizing, and measuring short and long-term business objectives, and performing other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other quantitative field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in a statistical scripting language such as TSQL, R, or Python.

  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
